Yeah counters stay on them, just like equipment would, but if it goes to your hand they are discarded

UDE published the official rules and his ability is clarified saying that he gets a 1 1 counter for EACH enemy attacking him (along with attacking people) so if someone team attacks him he will get 2 1 1 counters (unless they team attack with more than one guy)

Pretty much a 4 4... he gets the counter before the damage for the attack is put on, no?

sucky at first, yes. but you get this guy +1+1 each turn so he gets much stronger than any other 3 drop. and combine him with TTG and he gets up there and can help a lot!
