wow, so he actually gets shuffled back into the deck, did the old one do that or get placed at the bottom after the shuffle?

The old one got shuffled back into the deck as an effect, so you could combo him with the 3-drop Dr. Doom. They changed him to put on bottom as a cost, so they make it impossible to combo with the 3-drop Dr. Doom.
