I'm surprised at how much of a cost this thing is going for. I see why it's rare, because it helps your side. But Nasty Surprise is just as good if you don't have inititive and there are other Ongoing and Location cards that are better than this, it all depends on what deck you use.

Nasty Surprise is not nearly as good. If you dont already know this, but its Breakthrough that usually wins games. Nasty Surprise equals zero breakthrough.

I think It's Clobbering Time is better. But that doesn't mean that both are ridiculous.

this card is great when using it with the final form of Dr. Doom because you can use it on him then attack and get it back to your hand so you can play it on him again.

Ok. Savage Beatdown-five threshold Flying Kick-1. Savage Beatdown effect lasts one attack, flying kick is ALL TURN. Savage Beatdown- no flying Flying Kick- well... you get the idea. Finally, ever since upper-deck realized how coveted This card was they totally pulled production on it to jack the price. Number of boxes I bought before tourney's got off the ground was three and I got four SB's out of the deal. Number of boxes after tourney results were published was three as well and nada on the SB. I just love capitalism and how it applies to the young in this country.

Upper Deck doesn't sell singles, so how do they benefit from an increased price on one card? Card distribution is random, which I've learned plenty of times from opening Magic and VS boxes. I've had the same thing happen to me opening Magic boxes, but I didn't attribute it to some Grand Conspiracy on the part of WOTC. Demand for VS is already high; one card isn't going to appreciably change it.
