I read this at the offical UDE website about this card: (well actaly Fuzzy Elf, but It also fits here too)
A character that can attack as though he or she has flight and range does not actually have or get flight or range. Cards that "look" for flight or range, like Cover Fire, won't "find" him or her.
My friend tried using Cover Fire with this, we had an argument, things where flown but now I got Offical Ruling!

A solid 2-drop, and one of my favorite X-Men. Awesome art to boot. If I had an X-Men deck, I'd run at least two or three. I may be a bit biased though, I just like Nightcrawler.

Sure his defense is a point lower then some 2 costs, but if he sticks around the ability to not be stunned helps. That includes overload while attacking.

Above average ATK for a 2-drop and cannot be stunned while attacking makes him better than his 4-drop version.

If you had 4 Bamfs would you consider running a different 2 drop for X-Men? Sad to say, but I would.

When overload was being run... this card stopped it cold.. Pump him to +10 for the attack... it didn't matter... while attacking he cannot be stunned. :D

this ability fits the char so well but like its been said it needs the ability of the 4 drop to ba an amazing card
you cant counter attack what is not there
